Call for Global Participation
On June 22, 2025, the very first Rabbi Jacob World Day will take place. A day dedicated to dance, humor, and peace. A free, open initiative – without speeches, leaders, or banners – as a joyful and collective response to the tensions of our time.
We invite everyone to organize a local event in their city, neighborhood, school, institution, or even at home. It can be a simple dance circle, a flashmob, a workshop, a screening, a themed gathering, or an amateur performance. Whether you’re two or two thousand, your participation matters.
Simultaneous gatherings will take place in Paris, New York, Toronto, Berlin, Geneva, Brussels, Tel Aviv, and many other cities. No stage, no official protocol. Just open spaces, music, and a collective movement.
To participate:
– Visit www.rabbijacob.com to learn the original choreography with Ilan Zaoui, the film’s choreographer.
– Share your ideas or ask questions at rabbijacob.flashmob@gmail.com

This day is inspired by the model of World Music Day: a spontaneous, grassroots, universal celebration. It does not commemorate. It does not protest. It does not demand allegiance. It simply affirms, through dance and laughter, a desire for connection, peace, and fraternity.
The movement has begun. We count on you to keep it going.
